TSM is fast. No other system can return information, allow data mining, or respond to user configuration as fast as TSM.
At ACTIVE, we understand that software solutions have to support working practices, not cause unnecessary change in the way you do your job. We have invested year-on-year in the on-going development of TSM to ensure that it respects established working practices and work flow, so that you can get the best from our software solution in a timely, relevant and supportive fashion.
There is one key aspect of TSM's functionality and performance that puts it way ahead of the competition – ease of data linkage. The “raison d'etre” of GIS is to allow data to be brought to life spatially, to reveal information about where things happen that can't be seen in tables, charts or lists. The logical extension of this core functionality is to link data sets that only have spatial reference in common, i.e. linking census data with dwelling fire data, or road network developments with response potential. TSM has broken new ground consistently over its 13-year life in the simple yet powerful data linkage functions it contains. TSM will allow the user to import additional data sets as there are no capacity limits in the number and nature of spatially referenced data that the system can host, linking all the data all the time.

This system will allow users to assess the impact of operational changes in terms of both risk to the community and workload implications of other resources. Again, this analysis can be achieved in minutes and provide detailed reports to build a robust evidence base for decision makers. It uses actual incident data, and response standard benchmarks to calculate performance for any given scenario. It can also be used to suggest the optimum deployment locations and number of resources required for any time period given the base locations and total number of resources available.
